FAQs
Some people might be intimidated to come to The Conn-Greb Boxing Club. Why should people give it a try?
-
Thinking about a boxing gym can be intimidating, however, from the time that you step in our door you’ll find a positive community atmosphere. Our friendly experienced staff are committed to having you enjoy our gym culture….and get a great workout too!
What if I am a complete beginner? Will your gym be appropriate for me?
-
It is completely understandable that someone might be intimidated to try boxing, but the biggest hurdle you will need to overcome is just walking in the front door. We have an experienced trained staff of friendly people who are here to support members. Once you experience a class, you will see that there is nothing to worry about. Boxing is our life and although we train some professionals, the majority of our members don’t ever plan on competing in a boxing match.
Will I get hit? Is contact mandatory?
-
No. The majority of our members are there for our exceptional boxing workouts and the majority of the classes are all non contact. However our “Boxing Techniques” class is optional and that does offer some contact and sparring for those who wish to do so.
Are private boxing lessons offered?
-
Yes, we have hourly personal training sessions available to fit your schedule and needs. These are available for both non-members and at a reduced cost to members
